Plusnet - consumer ISP
We've used PlusNet as a home ISP ourselves for many years. At least 20 years now.
Why
We've found customer service to be excellent, and in addition, they are one of the few ISP to actively deploy traffic management to their network, meaning faster video and gaming response.
How to signup
We get a referer kickback from PlusNet for new users, By all means use the link to go to their website.

Annoying popups ?
So you clicked "allow notifications" on a web site..
You've been on a website that has asked you to allow notifications, and without thinking, you've agreed. Often these sites are malicious, and push adverts, typically fake McAfee and Norton adverts scaring you into clicking on a link which can take you to a very dodgy website.
Open EDGE and copy and paste the line below into the address bar.
edge://settings/content/notifications
or
Open Google Chrome and copy and paste the line below into the address bar.
chrome://settings/content/notifications
You'll see an allowed list of websites, if you don't know them or trust them, click on the three dots to the right of the website address and choose block.
Viola - issue solved 🙂
